Everyone loves a fine heist movie, and few are more fun than the Ocean's trilogy. The Steven Soderbergh films were a blast, featuring ridiculously puzzling heists, humor, thrills and no shortage of star power. fittingly for a sequel/reboot to be successful, it has to sustain those elements, even though also feeling fun and fresh. That's exactly what the Ocean's 8 reboot-quel is hoping to do. Ocean's 8 is overflowing next talent, and the further flyer teases a movie that is sexy, fun and full of brilliantly funny characters.
First off, it must be said that even though we have yet to look the truth film, the genuine heist taking place in this flyer is Anne Hathaway absolutely stealing the statute as socialite Daphne Kluger. The vibes who will be wearing the necklace at the heart of the heist is flatteringly glorious, as self-absorbed and witless as she is beautiful. Although there is a theory, based on a shot in the first trailer, that this is all an engagement and she is actually in on the crime. I hope this vibes gets a fair bit of screen time, because I absolutely cannot wait to look what Anne Hathaway does next such a fun role.
The cast as a amassed is a aspiration team-type, All-Star lineup of actresses and without ask one of the big selling points of the movie. Cate Blanchett and Sandra Bullock are standouts in the flyer as the de facto leaders of the team, and Rihanna also looks to be a giving a fun performance, playing a much vary vibes than most of her roles. We know that Matt Damon will be cameoing in Ocean's 8, reprising his role of Linus Caldwell from the previous three films, and fortunately neither he, nor any further major potential cameos, of which I expect many, are spoiled in this trailer.
